Review on Seachem PhosNet Phosphate Silicate Aquarium by Heather Ward

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works very well for fish and aquatic animals

Have been struggling with high phosphate levels since I bought a reef tank from a friend. Since water changes weren't enough, I decided to give it a try. I can honestly say that in my experience it works very well and is fast. Seachem has higher capacity products but since they all really talk about changing after 4 days I see no reason why you need to spend extra money unless you are completely exhausted. But then you probably don't do water changes :)

Pros
  • REMOVAL: Seachem's PhosNet is a granular iron oxide (GFO) with high porosity, high surface area and high binding power. It quickly removes phosphate from silicates in fresh and salt water.
Cons
  • Long delivery time
