So far so good with PLA

I bought this to use on my Ender 3 because the original (fiberglass?) build plate was significantly warped. My first print on this glass plate didn't stick, so I cleaned it thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol and increased the bed temperature from 50°C to 55°C. It worked and I made several prints that turned out to be perfect. Until now it was very easy to remove parts from the plate (much easier than from the original plate): they basically detach immediately after printing. I only print in PLA so I can't vouch for how it performs with other materials. Note that you will need larger clamps as this plate is much thicker than the standard plate.
