Review on 🚪 ASONPAO GIT-1 Intellicode ACSCTG Type1 Remote: Dual Pack for Genie and Overhead Door Garage Door Openers by Eric Hanson

They look just like the ones that come with the old Genie openers. Except they use smaller CR2025 batteries, which is a good thing because they're widely available and cheap (compared to the small 12V cylindrical types). Maybe this means shorter expected battery life, but I don't know yet. Another oddity is that they look like they have the same battery compartment as the original, but it's just a cutout in the plastic case. It amazed me. In fact, you have to disassemble the two halves. I didn't end up needing it because if I remember correctly the batteries were built in. Overall the remotes work within the expected range and two for this price is pretty good value.
