It was a great concept for us, I'm a breastfeeding mother. As we live near the beach it is very important for us to have shade on beach days as I cannot sunburn my child. It does a good job of creating shadows. We thought it would be nice for privacy as well as for breastfeeding or dressing, but I don't recommend closing it on a hot or warm day. The interior heats up considerably within a few minutes. We sat inside for a few minutes trying to breastfeed and then had to leave because we were so hot. Otherwise it's a great little tent. Compact, fast, light, windproof and provides good shade.
