Review on 🚰 GIMILI Kitchen Faucet with Pull Down Sprayer - High Arc Single Handle Spring Kitchen Sink Faucet - Brushed Nickel Commercial Modern Stainless Steel Kitchen Faucets - RV Grifos De Cocina by Anthony Bandzz

Revainrating 5 out of 5

There is no longer a need to buy mixers from well-known brands.

This is the second Chinese made faucet I have purchased from Revain. The first bathroom faucet was of better quality than the Price Pfister which I kept. I had to return the faucet due to the odd hose length and cut off recalculation. Anyway, fast forward to this kitchen faucet. I usually always buy branded items because I think they are of higher quality. I had a Kohler faucet in my kitchen that I hated. The surface oxidized, the feed never worked properly, the nozzle was always crooked. Found this gimli here at Revain for $59 and got it for $50 in a flash. Decided to give it a try. Why not? The only thing that bothers me is that the instructions suck. I understand that the article is from China and there is probably no one whose primary language is English writing it. Take the Ikea manual and imagine it's 3 times more incomprehensible, and you get an instruction manual for this faucet. So what was unclear? The faucet comes with red and blue plumbing lines that are not attached to the bottom of the faucet. If you look at the bottom of the faucet where you screw them in, neither hole is marked. There is a red and blue mark on the faucet handle where you can squeeze the hot and cold water, so I chose the hole for the hot water pipe which was right next to the red mark on the side of the handle. My logical assumption was wrong. and sliding towards hot, removes cold water and vice versa. Since I'm the only one using the faucet and I know it's upside down, I ended up just leaving it there. I have old brittle check valves that once cracked and I didn't want to risk disconnecting and re-tightening the lines for fear of cracking the check valve assembly. The rest of the fitting looks modern, works. Spring. has a good flow and after shopping at comparable brands over $200 cheaper than the cheapest and I've even seen others like it for $600 at my local Home Depot.
