At first I thought I was doing something wrong when I saw dirty water in the top tank of the bucket, but I checked again manually and the filtered water is actually in the lower tank. The filtered water is pumped back to the fresh water station (the comb-like part attached to the bucket) where the mop head is re-wetted as it rotates. Makes a lot of sense once you understand the technology. and the floors are great! Filtering dirt and hair out of mopping water is awesome, I'm really surprised this is the first mop to invent water filter in a bucket. I used mops with disposable cleaning pads for a long time during college, and after using the iMop I will not go back. Now that I have this product I don't have to spend money on a cheap product that needs refilling, it's going to be expensive. The iMop comes with a couple of extra water filters, it doesn't need any extra cleaning supplies, it cleans just as well if not better than any other type of mop I've used and this product fits in very well with my eco-friendly lifestyle. The "after" photos above show dirty water and a used but still surprisingly clean mop after using it to clean my parents' kitchen with just hot water. Using hot water cleaned the floors really well and now I'm really excited to try this on some college level floors. Once I decide to tackle the floors in my house at school I'll only be using a little Simple Green, mainly to make sure the remnants of spilled beers, dirty shoes and other leftovers from our adventures are really cleaned up. . I love this product and even as a poor college student I would give anyone a 10/10 this product is worth the price.
