Review on DEWALT DG5617 20-Pocket Pro Framer's Combo Apron Tool Belt with Yoke-style Suspenders in Black Leathercraft by Delos Montano

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Poor design - can't frame when my speed square drops a floor.

This is a really badly designed bag and both surprising and disappointing from Dewalt. Not a quick square bag. There isn't a single framer in the world who wouldn't use an elbow, but this bag doesn't have a dedicated pocket for an elbow - skinny, deep, preferably triangular. None of the pockets in the bag are deep and thin enough to prevent your tissue from falling out. Huge problem. Tape measure clip far back. Not available. Serious? The belt and suspenders are very comfortable. There is no one size fits all, and "folding the belt over here" doesn't work for skinny people - it won't stay in place. I'm going to cut out the bottom of the bag and sew it on for speed. Square. The strap goes into a large pocket on the side (not the biggest issue). The belt just stays long (not the biggest problem).

Pros
  • Still happy
Cons
  • Nothing
