The shoes are stylish, waterproof, and seemingly slip-resistant. Slip-resistance does not work too well in snow, which is why I bought them (per other reviewers), but overall a nice purchase. I added some water repellant as a precaution but they seemed to hold up well while walking through snow. They were also comfortable for the trail hike, but I would not traverse the desert or hike up Half Dome (you would definitely mess up the shoes and probably fall tragically). The shoes fit well for my size 10, flat feet and I did not have discomfort while wearing them for three days. These were also one of the only shoes that would ship within two days of my trip because I am a last-minute planner.
