This knife is suitable for light use but not intended for heavy use or even much sharpening in my opinion. Although it is very cheap and suitable for craftsmen or hobbyists, I would not recommend it for those who intend to do a lot of work with it or for those who do not know how to properly hold the sharp edge of their knife. This knife just doesn't hold a very sharp edge for long, but if you're willing to sharpen and/or tighten frequently each time, it could do a decent job.
