Medium quality, especially for that kind of money.

Last Saturday, visited several countries and was hoisted on six or seven "carces", I don' glad he' I took 35/2 IS from Canon, there are no problems with misses and slow focusing, and the image no longer needs to be constantly cropped (for the last six months I have been using the lens at full frame, since the EF mount is here, uncorrectable distortion and terrible soap at the edges, but it was not necessary to ate the optics park and the picture was good) the 35/2 IS cost over $40K, and this Sigma managed to  it for $26 (and get in trouble) firstly, F-stop and T-stop are different things; 35/2 has a fair T/2, while Sigma has a T/1.6 (according to DXO) only 1/3 stop of the difference with fifty dollars and 2/3 - c 35/2 all these rents of the docking station (and then buying it), changing carces (with the hope that everything will work on this one! ) And attempts to repair the AF system in the camera resulted in such additional expenses for me that I could very well afford 35 / 1.4 recommend you take it.

Pros

where every third of the stop is important :) Although in fact the difference with half a hundred is small (although now you can shoot with a slower shutter speed, because no one has canceled the 1 / FR rule) it's micro-contrast.

Cons

No matter how sharp and beautifully drawing the gl is, if it misses, I came across not the best copy - depending on the camera, the accuracy of hits was from 20% to 70% Yes, I spent probably 12 hours in total adjusting the lens (meaning all the carces at once) Often, especially with a complex background, in a forest or in a clearing, It is difficult to carry the lens with you all the time, they put a lot of gl there.
