I love the sheerness of these compression socks. They don't make me feel old, having to wear them everyday for swelling in the feet, ankles. The toeless socks have been perfect to be able to wear flip flops with them. The tightness is great, I can wear these for 12 hours. The measurements fit the best compared to 2 other styles I purchased. The medium fits my foot from the base of toes. I purchased 2 other brands that put my measurements in the small range, those brands I find the foot part is to short. Those fit more in the arch of the foot and with my feet being very swollen, this NuVein product goes to the base of the toes and covers all the areas that swell up for me, plus helps swelling all the way up to my lower calf. You can feel the compression and they keep the swelling down. I've had them now for almost 2 months, the tops are still staying up at the calf too. I have the black that was good for winter/spring, but now use the beige as summer approaches and short season is coming.
