THE GOOD: Made of aluminum alloy, this mounting jig is strong and sturdy. I don't think there are going to be any issues of any parts falling off or breaking. The clamp section that touches the cabinet is padded, so the jig shouldn't scratch up any surfaces. Nice construction overall.THE BAD: The jig comes with zero instructions. Fortunately, the ebay page does provide instructions, but this should have been also included in the box. But the main feature that I do not like is that the use of this jig is limited to cabinets where the door hangs very close to the cabinet's body. I tried to use it on an older cabinet, and the support arm barely catches the edge. This makes the jig virtually useless as support while installing the hinges. Even when the door hangs close, the support arm is less than one inch wide, so it doesn't provide a whole lot of support. If the support arm would be twice as wide, it would be compatible with a much wider variety of cabinet doors and offer more support.SUMMARY: Although this jig is nicely constructed, due to its limitations, I cannot recommend it. I would look for a jig that provides more support and for a wider variety of cabinets.
