Strong magnet, holds the bit very firmly. The magnetic field is strong enough to keep the nuts/bolts on the bit. see drawing. It's a 7-inch hex wrench at 10mm and weighs 4.9 ounces (about 1/3 lb). The grip is good, the shape somewhere between round and hexagonal, a good compromise. The black part is made of rubber and the orange part is made of plastic. Several users appreciated the "lock" feature. Hm? Maybe they mean how tight the bit sits in the screwdriver, which is great. I bought two different screwdrivers. The cheap one costs $4 and this one costs $8. This one ($8) is worth the extra dollars. The other will sink to the bottom of my toolbox and be forgotten.
