Review on Pirelli Scorpion Verde 225/55 R19 99V summer by Dagmara Kunikowska ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I'm very happy, it really is worth buying.

Three seasons lasted one set, this spring I took the same rubber as a replacement. I really liked its versatility and unpretentiousness. You can drive on asphalt, regardless of its quality. If the expensive one is good, then the rubber shows itself well at speed. On bad pavement, there is minimal risk of tire damage. Of course, no rubber will give a 100% guarantee against damage, taking into account the condition of our roads, but here there are strong, moderately rigid sidewalls, and a reliable tread. So udalost to avoid hernias and other damages for all term of operation. According to the properties of rubber, I can call it universal. On asphalt it's perfect. Not hard, not loud, good speed, excellent taxiing. It is less adapted for off-road conditions, but anyone can see it anyway - rubber is still not AT, etc., but specifically for asphalt. But on simple soils it copes even after rain. That is, it will pass through the usual muddy primer, especially dry. The main thing is not to get into knee-deep mud or deep sand.

Pros
  • Price. Versatility. Strength. Wear resistance.
Cons
  • For an SUV, patency on primers is weak, only for simple driving conditions outside the asphalt
