I have had to purge all my pups stuffies, which is sad, but they have destroyed everything except the bones. This pineapple seemed to be an interesting diversion from their chew bones so I snagged one. First of all, it's very cute. My girls (14 lbs and 21 lbs, both young pups 1 yr) were very interested. Unfortunately, the green fabricy stems were beginning to be destroyed, but not easily, they are made of tuff stuff, just my girls are annihilators. I ended up cutting off the greenery but they still love it. The sz is perfect, almost slightly too large so I wouldn't purchase this for a dog under 15 lbs. It's heavy, it's tough and best of all, it squeaks! I gave it 4 stars because the top stem wasn't as durable, but other than that, I am happy with this toy and would buy another. The pineapple body is hard enough to be durable, but soft enough to not destroy teeth. Great product, I'm finding great durable chew toys hard to find, so thank you for a viable option!
