Review on ๐Ÿ“ธ Sigma 15mm f/2.8 EX DG Diagonal Fisheye Lens for Nikon SLR Cameras: Captivate with Distinctive Fisheye Effects by Brittany Howard

but turns out i can put in these nice fisheye pics from some of my regular sessions

i wanted to have a fisheye lens in my bag about a year ago. My biggest concern is getting such a lens that works both crop and full frame as I often use this lens on the beach with my backup camera and not with my pro gear. At first I thought I would use it mostly for personal photography and not so much for my professional life, but it turns out I'm able to capture these beautiful fisheye images from some of my regular sessions. The lens itself has an odd lens cap that I'm not used to. I have owned and rented other Sigma lenses before and none of them had this type of lens cap. So, FYI, you have to be very careful how you shoot it. I also loved this lens. I can't say how it compares to the canon version as I've never tried that version. However, I find it quite sharp in good light conditions and even wide open. Suitable for my purposes. I didn't need the canonical version of the L series. For this money only +. I think Sigma really shines with this lens.
