I had a lovely leather jacket that was in good condition except for the zipper that would not close. The teeth under the zipper parted. The cost of replacing the entire zip would have been prohibitive BUT replacing just a worn slider was a breeze! Took out the old top stop, put on the new slider and replaced the top stop with one of the several included in this kit and it's like new! It literally took 5 minutes from start to finish. As a bonus, the slider even matches the original. Very satisfied - highly recommend trying this repair kit for any zipper with a worn slider with teeth otherwise intact. 5 Stars!
