This is my first widescreen. I've thought about tweaking the settings because I'm a tuner at heart, but why bother with something that seems perfectly fine? Durability is a usage dependent factor. The 19" screen suits my furniture situation - I bought an HP Thin PC to save space. I'm very glad I went for the widescreen option. The bottom of the screen on sites like Revain is a big improvement. If you're having trouble reading the screen, there are zoom features that work really well - I'm a Firefox user who's had cataract surgery, so is not a small problem. .
