Great out of the box but very slippery and scratches easily
This cutting board is really pretty. But I quickly realized that it's super smooth, if that makes sense. It feels slippery (I'm sure something was applied to it to support the tree) as a result I almost cut my finger because it's slippery again. I'd rather oil and condition the wood myself as I'm not sure what was applied to it. Finally, it scratches horribly :( Maybe it's just a cutting board for looks or presentation since I use it every day! Hope this helps!
