This is my first review of this product and it shows how disappointed I am with this product, but more importantly with the seller. I bought this extended warranty product as a gift in November. The package was missing the power cord adapter and remote control upon arrival. Although this was already an inconvenience, the seller offered to send an additional shipment with these missing items free of charge. After we received all the parts after about a week, we tried to connect the device to the TV. The device took a few minutes to turn on, and there were a few hiccups during setup. Despite these initial difficulties, we were able to get most applications like YouTube and Hulu running on the device. However, Netflix created a huge problem. It wouldn't load and every attempt we made froze the device, forcing us to turn it off every time we selected Netflix. I contacted the seller as soon as I noticed this problem and the seller replied almost immediately asking what firmware version it was. Furnished. Although I don't know what it is or what it has to do with the problem, I found the necessary information and gave it to the seller. I did not get an answer. Two days later, I sent another email asking for help with the issue and advice on how to proceed, and I received an immediate response to contact the warranty company. I thought it was funny since I just bought this item. a month ago and it was defective from the start but I still complained to the warranty company. Unfortunately I wasn't able to file a claim right away so while waiting for their response I emailed the seller to let them know how dissatisfied I was with their lack of help. In response, the seller said I could ship the item (at my own expense) to their Illinois office and they would diagnose the problem and send a replacement. While I appreciated the response, I felt it was unfair that I had to pay for shipping to return this disgusting product. The warranty company has now replied to me. They accepted my complaint but advised me to contact the seller as the product should still be covered by the manufacturer's warranty. I forwarded this message to the seller asking how we could solve the problem at no additional cost to his customer, but he didn't offer a solution. In the end we decided to return the whole item as it wasn't worth getting a replacement. I am very disappointed with the lack of response from the seller and the expense they were willing to continually raise for their customers for a product that is one of the most expensive products on Revain but does not match the quality.
