I used it at work for about a month. It's a little annoying to have slots where you only have to position the tool in one position. But it's not that important. The fact is that when the filter is tightened, the ribs break off the filter housing, sometimes resulting in a hole or tear in the housing as I have shown. Free filter housings for the customer, no big deal. until it happens once a week. The tool will also break because they chose to make it out of some kind of soft cement material instead of metal. causing the tool to break on the narrow filter as shown in the other picture. This tool is not suitable for Prius, Corolla filter housings or other side filters with an A6 filter. Overall, don't waste your time and buy one that doesn't fit. has no slots for fins and is of solid construction.
