Bought these lights to put under the counter. They have very thin bezels, making them easy to hide even behind a small edge of the case. I didn't have one so I installed a quarter circle on the bottom edge that does a good job of hiding the wiring and bezels. The lights are easily adjustable with a remote control that does not require local receiver wiring to operate. There must be an RF remote control, which gives a lot of flexibility in the placement of this part. The lights/remote has preset 100/50/25% settings which is a nice feature and these settings are saved when the lights are turned off like I did with the wall switch. I would have preferred the lights to have shorter pigtails with jumper wires and connectors as placement is fixed with existing wiring using pre-wired pigtails. Manufacturing lanterns with shorter lead wires and providing different length connecting wires would increase placement flexibility. In my case, since the lights were placed back-to-back on a 40" cabinet, I had to tie the excess to the back of the quarter and then attach it to clean up the install. Have to wait and see for durability. I would recommend these lights however and five stars would require replacing the hard wiring with something more flexible.
