I received shoes with the sole already separated from the top of the shoe. Since I didn't have time to reorder I just had to get some shoe glue and stick it on because I was going camping that week. I haven't had any durability issues and have been traveling through woods and streams with a 40lb backpack so it worked well because it just sucks if the soul is separated when I got it.
