Review on Pioneer BDR-XS07S Silver 16X Blu-ray Burner with SATA 3.0, BD-R, BD-RE and DVD+R by Jeff Kern

I think I should have looked into this a little more. Description - Pioneer BDR-XS07S Silver 16X BD-R 2X BD-RE 16X DVD+R 12X BD-ROM is wrong. I absolutely loved burning BD-R discs at 16x. I put in my 16x BD-R disc, launched the Cyberlink burning software and when the write speed went up to 6x - What the heck! I looked at the specs of the recording on the box and found it would only work with BD-R at 6x. Thanks for the disappointment! Otherwise I'm sure it's a great device. So far it has recorded 6 BD-R discs flawlessly, just a little slower than expected.
