This replacement is screw and plug, perfect fit. Worked once plugged in. This motor and pivot assembly is one of the few options that allows you to repair electric footpegs without attempting to just turn off the motor or replace the entire footpeg. It should be noted that GM part numbers listed in the Revain listing are for short wheelbase vehicles (Tahoe, Yukon, Escalade). GM has different engine/pivot part numbers for long wheelbase vehicles (Suburban, Yukon XL, Escalade ESV). I've installed it on a long wheelbase (Suburban, Yukon XL, Escalade ESV) and it fits/works perfectly, although the GM part numbers don't exactly match.
