Review on πŸ”§ Premium Performance: Timken SP500301 Front Wheel Bearing and Hub Assembly - Reliable and Durable by Steve Washington

Expected more from Timken

I ordered this to replace the same Timken I replaced on 7/26/18 at a cost of 134k. Replaced it with new upper arms/ball joints, lower ball joints, driveshafts and sway bar links shortly after the full front end restoration of my 10 Series Sierra. I swapped it out again today 12/20/20 at 210k. It started making oscillating damping / rear plane noise probably from 190k onwards which gradually got worse. With LT, ORY fans and the MBRP exhaust, it was hard to tell until it got louder than the exhaust and I got a vibration in the steering wheel. I won't buy it again if this one ruins the bed just as quickly. The truck gets 95% of its miles on the freeway, occasionally towing a couple of jet skis and a 3,500-pound, 14-foot trailer. It doesn't hit, it doesn't stall, it doesn't go off-road or anything teenage. Now the truck feels tighter and more responsive on that side, and I can see how slack the driver's side is, which was replaced with the same Timken hub about a year ago. Month / 5k after the passenger was originally.
