100% match, 08 Tahoe 4x4.

Part number SP500301; Chevrolet Tahoe 4x4 2008, perfect fit, ABS connectors fit. Bearing depth is the same as OEM (I've read some comments about some other brands saying there's a noticeable difference in bearing sizes, they're not here). You will need a 36mm socket to remove the CV nut (axle nut) and simply unscrew the two 18mm caliper caliper bolts to remove the caliper/caliper/pads instantly, much less work. Three 15mm bolts in the spindle holding and knocking out the bearing.

Pros
  • Good value for money
Cons
  • Minor issues

Quality Bearing Timken

Ordered to replace a noisy bearing on my 2011 Silverado. After 3 months I'm still satisfied with this bearing, it's tight and silent! Everything fit perfectly and there were no problems during installation. A piece of advice for those who have to go through a lot of wheel bearings: only torque the axle nut up to 100 ft/lbs, anything above that is excessive and will wear out the bearing faster than anything else. As a professional engineer, I recommend Timken products when it comes to bearings…

Timken Bearings - A quality unit at a great price.

Timken bearings. Quality device at a great price. Always clean the area around the bearing of dirt and debris with a small wire brush before installing a new bearing. Bearing preload is critical, so make sure you tighten it to 177 lb-ft. I have Toyota's MT and they sounded a bit loud. The bearings had some play but after installing the two front bearings the noise from the tires was significantly reduced which to me suggests the bearings were starting to make noise.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Best Price, Top Quality, Fast Shipping, Plug & Play

Dealer wants $400+, Autozone $250, Summit Racing $200. Bought TWO for $240 ($120 each) and they are top quality. You can't go wrong with Timken bearings. They are supplied as a ready-to-assemble unit. Just make sure you clean the knuckle, put some anti-seize compound on the walls of the knuckle, and grease the axle shaft (and the back and inside of the Timken assembly). Took me about 1 hour per side. I could have done it faster if I hadn't wasted time drilling out the rotor stop bolt.

High Quality Factory Replacement

So the quality of this product is excellent. I have used this brand of bearings in the past and have been very happy with the results. This led to the use of this wheel hub. It snaps into place just like the factory unit. It even includes an ABS sensor. Please note: The factory hub can be very difficult to remove due to corrosion alone. Be prepared that you will have to work hard to remove it. It took me about 20 minutes to remove the screws and about 20 minutes to put everything back in place.

  • Inspires Confidence

Expected more from Timken

I ordered this to replace the same Timken I replaced on 7/26/18 at a cost of 134k. Replaced it with new upper arms/ball joints, lower ball joints, driveshafts and sway bar links shortly after the full front end restoration of my 10 Series Sierra. I swapped it out again today 12/20/20 at 210k. It started making oscillating damping / rear plane noise probably from 190k onwards which gradually got worse. With LT, ORY fans and the MBRP exhaust, it was hard to tell until it got louder than the…

Silverado 4x4 Front Hub Replacement 2011

You can't go wrong with this item. It was equal or better than the OEM it replaced on my 2011 Silverado Z71 and is made in the USA, it's a quality part. If you have the tools and a good jack, you can replace it in an hour or less, but you need the right tools. I also bought a Tekton 36mm Deep Impact and it's a quality head but the drive axle hub is tightened to 177lbs and was very difficult to break, in fact I have my 1/2" to 3/4" adapter Broken. try to lose it, so you should end up with the…
