I bought them in two styles, one without locks and one with locks. I like these handles overall but have one major complaint: the screws that came with the locking handles are not black like the handles. The screws in the non-locking package were black. Other than that (I’m thinking I’ll be the only one who notices because I’m particular and it’ll bother me forever but no one else will ever know), they are easy to install and it was easy to switch the handles around. Of the 12 I needed to install, only one door was the way they handles come. I had to chisel my doors and door frames to fit the latch parts since my previous 1970s hardware was smaller. I wish I would have realized I’d have to chisel before I painted but what is homeownership without endless touch ups?! The directions weren’t all that helpful but the handles are a fairly simple mechanism and you can easily figure out how to switch the handles with the little Allen wrench provided.
