My apologies for the poor photo but Lily was so excited about her new dress she would not sit still for her photo! She is a 4 pound deer head Chihuahua and is three years old. I always have problems finding the right fit for her so I hope her description helps you. We purchased a size small and it fits her perfectly. With her skinny legs it's often a gamble whether a shirt or dress will stay on her or be too tight, but this fits with room for her to romp around with her bff (who's a cat lol). The Velcro doesn't bother her neck and stays sealed. I'm also happy with its durability as she tends to snag her clothes with her nails (they look long in the picture but aren't) long or short if she has that precarious itch going on (nope no fleas either she's well taken care of, pampered with oatmeal baths, and spoiled) I suppose it's a Chihuahua thing they tend to be nervous dogs. With all that said, she's excited about her dress and we are too. One of the sequins did fall off but probably she did it chasing her bff so that could be a problem later on but so far the rest are staying just fine. A rogue string was hanging off too but that's easily fixed.
