I saw that it would fit the older model 725 but wasn't sure about the T2 version. Happy to report it fits! It's made of decent gauge steel and the zero-backlash block is made of hard plastic. Overall it seems much stronger than the original. When I raised the blade through the plate for the first time, I was amazed at how loud it was. The hard plastic insert will ding if the blade even touches it. The solution I found was to remove the panel, sand the cut with 120 grit sandpaper and then reinstall. Well, that sounds fantastic (very quiet). Unfortunately, this is not a real zero distance sign. The back half of the blade is visible through a gap of about 3/8 inch.
