Perfect fit for Delta 36-725 table saw

After looking for a gap free insert for my Delta table saw I found one that works great on my Delta 36-725 table saw. It seemed difficult to find a pre-made zero gap insert to fit my table saw at local stores that sell Delta table saws. I don't know why it is like this. Glad I found this at Revain after spending some money on two others that didn't suit my table. There are no issues with this product and I recommend it to anyone who has a Delta 36-725 table saw. I could make my own to be…

Will not fit my 36-725

After ordering 3 sets of Robert Lee Handcraft's Zero Clearance plates that didn't fit, I decided to spend a little more money to get a plate to match. . Well, it still didn't fit. No matter what I do, it won't sit flush with the table. Set screws removed, zero gap rubber insert removed, clamps moved back, still does not fit. The clips broke during installation. With no clamps, no screws and no rubber insert, it still didn't fit my 36-725. I'm starting to wonder if my cast iron was warped and…

5 stars with a few caveats.

This gapless insert is a bit pricey but works great. I was planning on making my own zero gap insert, but it proved difficult with my table saw. I've seen reviews stating that the reviewer wants the anti-backlash part to reach the back of the blade, but I think that would be entirely unnecessary. The idea behind Zero Clearance is to provide support under the piece of wood being cut as the saw blade rotates and cuts down. The only caveat I have about this insert (which is probably fine) is that…

Stronger and less flexible for Delta 36-725

As adamant as I am to making my own zero gap insert, my 36-725 has a very low profile of 1/8" which would force me to do it to make it solid metal. Although it seemed expensive, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this insert compared to the blue one that came with the table saw. It has this rubber and sits flush with the table without any flex. You need to lower the blade all the way down and clamp 2x4 as instructed or at least raise the blade too slowly as it will cut into the…

Powered by Delta 36-725T2

I saw that it would fit the older model 725 but wasn't sure about the T2 version. Happy to report it fits! It's made of decent gauge steel and the zero-backlash block is made of hard plastic. Overall it seems much stronger than the original. When I raised the blade through the plate for the first time, I was amazed at how loud it was. The hard plastic insert will ding if the blade even touches it. The solution I found was to remove the panel, sand the cut with 120 grit sandpaper and then…

does the job. Happy with the purchase.

I was 'planning' to make my own ZC insert but changed my mind and decided to buy it. This insert is well made. It's not perfect, but it does the job. You may need to adjust the tabs a little to make them lie flat on your saw, but once there they won't budge. The saw blade with this insert makes a hell of a noise because the sides of the gap are against the edges of the blade. Two ways to fix this: (1) When making a cut (lifting the spinning blade through the insert), fit a slightly thicker…
