As adamant as I am to making my own zero gap insert, my 36-725 has a very low profile of 1/8" which would force me to do it to make it solid metal. I saw that it would fit the older model 725 but wasn't sure about the T2 version. Happy to report it fits! It's made of decent gauge steel and the zero-backlash block is made of hard plastic. Overall it seems much stronger than the original. When I raised the blade through the plate for the first time, I was amazed at how loud it was. I was 'planning' to make my own ZC insert but changed my mind and decided to buy it. This insert is well made. It's not perfect, but it does the job. You may need to adjust the tabs a little to make them lie flat on your saw, but once there they won't budge.
