Review on 🔧 Enhance Precision and Safety with the Delta Power Equipment Corporation 36-501 Zero Clearance Throat Plate by Gustavo Mathew

As adamant as I am to making my own zero gap insert, my 36-725 has a very low profile of 1/8" which would force me to do it to make it solid metal. Although it seemed expensive, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this insert compared to the blue one that came with the table saw. It has this rubber and sits flush with the table without any flex. You need to lower the blade all the way down and clamp 2x4 as instructed or at least raise the blade too slowly as it will cut into the plastic part of the insert. I tear less and definitely notice an improvement over the blue fence I still use for folded daddy blades. Overall, for the price, I'm happy with the results. I just wish Delta had that flimsy, cheap insert that comes with the table saw is supplied.
