I bought a couple of these ASF-GE-T SFP transceivers in 2019 and they worked as expected (Netgear GC110P and GC110 cloud switches) - -No problems. I didn't think of that hardware (other than not having to pay a ridiculous price for a Netgear-branded transceiver that does the same). However, after purchasing additional transceivers earlier this year to use in other ports with the same device, I have not been able to get the new transceivers to work properly. This is my second purchase - I repurchased (returned) the ASF-GE-T in August 2020 and tried these ASF-GE-T1s (October 2020) - none of the models worked in my Netgear switch. However, the original set purchased last year still works normally. When these new SFP modules are plugged into a chassis and then connected to an active endpoint (PC) on the transceiver, the transceivers behave as if there is a switching loop. In other words, the switch logs show that the transceiver jumps through different STP states (block, forward, block, forward, on and on) - even when the link is an endpoint (PC) and not another switch. I will be returning this last one to Revain for a refund. Unfortunately, my disappointment cannot be erased either. :-(
