I like a light that is easy to focus, brightness and color can be adjusted. I love that the power button is backlit, although it's still hard to find as it's under the lamp rather than under the lamp and the light is blue and quite bright (I cover it with a throw pillow at night away). because otherwise it would disturb my sleep. Also, the clip is a decent size (wide opening but strong enough). However, if you're not careful, it has sharp edges on the inside of the clip (wider than the original hole) that can easily scratch what you're putting in. attach. I used it to scratch the wood paneling on my nightiest headboard. Another lamp and I still had to cover the scratches. and also holds up well.
