Review on 🔍 Purchasing POWERTEC 75007 Outer Filter for POWERTEC AF4000/ WEN 3410/ Shop Fox W1830 Air Filtration System – The Ultimate 1PK Filter Solution by Matthew Perez

Bought this external filter for my ShopFox W1830 air filter. I wasn't sure I would get one as it was about $5 cheaper than the Shopfox filters. On arrival it looks the same as the old one with the same dimensions and the quality seems to be the same. Happy to save some money and order more of these in the future. Although the product is great. As Revain posted it, it's not. Revain combined this filter and the inner filter I ordered in a box with a 34 lb vise. It goes without saying that the filter was crushed. But it actually worked well because when the filter was squeezed the edges came loose so when I put the filter in the car it actually got tighter and gave a better seal than the old one. I had to bend a few creases so it's ok. I try to maximize the life of these filters by taking them out and blowing them out with an air hose. If you don't see the white of the filter, it's time to blow it out. So I only change the filter once a year for the external filter and maybe 2 years for the internal filter, it all depends on how often you use it. Although this review is about the filter, I do not recommend the machine as it died on me after 1 month. after i received it. Something in the circuit went wrong and it turned on at all, so I hardwired the motor at medium speed to make it run that fast when turned on or off. Needless to say I had to throw the remote away but it works and is working fine now. I'm not too picky. Definitely a great filter.
