Review on XOOL Triple Warning Triangle Kit: Reliable Safety Reflectors for Roadside Emergencies, 3-Pack by Mariqn Carey

This review is for the XOOL warning triangle. Overall this is a good visibility kit in my opinion. for emergencies on the go for that price, but a few tweaks wouldn't hurt. The sides of the triangle are about 17 inches long. The kit measures approximately 18 x 5 x 2 inches. Made in China. Triangles (2): The main components, the foldable plastic reflective triangles, look very strong with metal rivets and I think they will last a long time. However, the inside of the "oxford cloth" triangles appears to be just thin, reflective plastic (that garbage bags are made of) and I expect it to tear at some point, limiting the triangles' effectiveness during the day. I would recommend that this interior is made of reflective nylon rather than plastic for durability. The triangles look like they could withstand a light breeze and thanks to the rubber feet they won't slide on the pavement. Triangles are easy to set up without directions. (Note: I just received this kit and haven't used it on the freeway yet.) Vests (2): Reflective, with a 3" Velcro strip on the front to keep it closed. I think it will work, but it depends on your size and the time of year. I'm size M/L and the vest fits snug enough around the shirt. However, when I tried it over a mid-weight jacket, it wasn't big enough to zip up and I'm pretty sure it won't zip up over a down jacket. Therefore, it does not close in cold weather, which can limit its effectiveness in windy conditions. I think the 2X sizing on the label is definitely misleading to Americans. Gloves (2): These are of surprisingly good quality and fit my medium sized hand, but probably won't fit a small or large person very well Cases: Very nice black ballistic nylon case with a high quality (unnamed) zipper. The lid section has a useful full length mesh pocket for storing vests and gloves. Inside the nylon case are two convenient oblong orange plastic containers for storing folded triangles. Pros: Sturdy, good quality plastic triangles with metal rivets Sturdy and useful cases Cons: Internal reflective triangles for daytime use are made from cheap, thin, bag-like plastic, not 'oxford cloth' as the description states. They must be nylon. The photo in the listing is also misleading and makes the inner triangle appear thick. It's not like this. The vest is not worn over the jacket (for a person of average height), which limits its usefulness in cool or cold weather. It must be extensible. I would give this set five stars if the vests were expandable and the inner reflective triangles were nylon.
