The first problem that struck us almost immediately was that the timer function built into the device is simply unreliable. We would have heard the engine take off (more on that in a moment) but the fog would not have come out. Instead, we opted for a smart plug (and in our case, Alexa compatible) and set up our own schedule, which worked great and was probably more complete than what we could set up with a single device. The downside, however, is that we had to resort to it. In addition, the device beeps quite loudly every time it is switched on, which was also inconvenient. Our tank is in our spare room and we had to unplug it more than once to keep it from beeping all night. The biggest problem just happened today, less than 4 months after purchase. The humidifier turns on, but steam cannot rise through the tube. If you look closely you can see that there is a lot of water being sprayed through the pipe and the mist is only gathering at the base. Now it's useless. We cleaned it again, let it dry, and still nothing. You have to buy a new block. Stay away from it, NOT GOOD AT ALL.
