Tried to hear on microlab solo 3 mk3 coupled with 1k bitrate. I decided to improve the sound on my PC for microlab solo 3 mk3 speakers (I don’t listen in my ears). Immediately after the purchase, I began to compare this card with the built-in. 3 or 4 hours of changing wires back and forth between the speakers, listening to the same songs in the same places, while trying to isolate the placebo effect. and you know what? )))) I did not hear the difference! Neither direct nor any other add-on-improver built into the program helped to discern the sound quality. The equalizer was spinning, then the emphasis on the middle ones increased, then on the low ones. But there was no quality. Well, I think, I probably need to cool down the ardor and leave it as the basis of the sound . No matter how 12 thousand is not a million. listening to music, watching movies, playing games. and so it went on for a week. As a result, the card was returned safely. Conclusions that I made for myself: 1. if this box cost 5k, I would keep it for myself. Because there is still something there and the sound was really a little liberated. 2. ideally, for sound, you need to take a normal amp and monitors. But the budget here already starts from 40t. R. And don't be fooled by the positive reviews about this card! Someone will assure to the last that the pods also sound and will kill everyone))))) VERDICT: there are absolutely superfluous 12k - take it. In the end, the placebo effect will play its positive role. Although if for you 12k is absolutely extra money, then it makes sense to assemble an entry-level system for 40-50k norms. if you doubt the expediency of spending 12k on a card - you can’t take it! No self-hypnosis will help! but the truth is the same when choosing your sound - everyone has different ears and styles of music. And none of even the top-end builds will sound equally cool for rock, metal, and acid at the same time! All the best!
