Review on Houseables Boomerang Wine Opener - 3 in 1 Corkscrew for Waiters, Sommeliers & Restaurants by Chuck Hernandez

This is a much more powerful version of the corkscrew I had to replace. I was specifically looking for this design. I've used MANY types of openers including rabbit openers, quill openers, and gas openers. I think I would take it first because of the versatility and functionality. I particularly like the function and design of the foil cutter. The auger also has a good pitch to width ratio. I rarely, if ever, break a cork with it. It starts smoothly and the fulcrum works as it should and is smooth. A bonus for me was a more massive construction than my previous version. I have a feeling this will be a well-used companion for a long time to come.
