Houseables Boomerang Wine Opener - 3 in 1 Corkscrew for Waiters, Sommeliers & Restaurants Review

The funnest tool I have. It works well for crown caps, wine corks, plastic caps, it is a versatile drinking companion. It's pretty good quality and the weight feels very premium. Small flaws in the casting give it character and do not lead to loss of functionality. This guy will accompany me wherever I want to have a drink.

This corkscrew replaces a similar one that we have used for many years. This new one works just as well as the old one. This is safe as there is no exposed blade to cut through the plastic or thin aluminum cap over the top of the cork. The circular knife works very well and removes the top of this cork cap quickly and cleanly. A simple design that is well made and much easier to use than some of the larger and more complex wine openers on the market. I recommend this product.

This is NOT a boomerang opener - it's a cheap fake that doesn't work as well as the real boomerang. I'm a bartender and I only use Boomerang openers for my work. This is a much more powerful version of the corkscrew I had to replace. I was specifically looking for this design. I've used MANY types of openers including rabbit openers, quill openers, and gas openers. I think I would take it first because of the versatility and functionality.
