I give this SMALL great pencil sharpener 4 stars, would be 5 if it was bigger. but it's great for those who are serious about crayons or crayons. It has a large polished blade. You can get the perfect tip or blunt flat top you need. THAT'S GREAT! I just wish it was bigger, I got them from the manufacturer's website through the contact section. I've noticed other people have a hard time, so I hope this helps. It slides off like your remote's battery cover - a "door" of sorts.
