The cheaper version
This much less expensive filter replaced my previous purchase -for a Samsung -Refrigerator -Frezeer with inside water dispenser. Installing this filter was easy and similar to all others. It did however require extensive 'purging' to clear the carbon out of the water. and it took a bit longer to establish a symbiosis with the Gear to stop dripping. However, the taste and quality of the water is incredible. The pros outweigh the cons on this cheap version , IMHO.
- Not much to say about this product except that it does the job it was born to do.
- May not be compatible with all ice makers
