Review on 💡 SFF 8087 Internal Connector for Efficient Connector Creation by Mark Jefferson

I have a high drive density (>40 drives) file server consisting of all SATA drives and cables . I recently replaced my SATA drives with SAS and needed a quick and dirty solution to connect the SAS drives to my RAID controller. with one of these $14 cables and replace the entire cable assembly (reducing the cost of the connector to about $3.50). So I went with a replacement cable since it was about half the price. All in all I bought 4 of these and I currently have about 10 drives that work with these cables. The cable fits snugly and snaps securely into place, the latch for the 8087 works well and there were no mounting issues or glare on the cables.
