That's over $1.18 per oiling session before tax. I didn't measure every time, just took a sip from the bottle. (I've been using the oil sporadically for about 8 years.) Having used it for a little over half a moon (sometimes I don't feel like oil in the morning) I can't say I'm completely blown away. The flavor is manageable, although I have to admit that it makes me throw up when it builds up in my mouth after 20 minutes of draw. Otherwise the taste is okay. I understand why people are repelled by the color yellow. Turmeric is said to whiten teeth. I'm not sure if my teeth are whiter or my gums are healthier as I haven't had any real measures before or after. Overall, this is a good drawing oil, but I don't think it's worth constantly spending $19 plus tax when there are other comparable options. A $6 jar of virgin coconut oil lasts a lot longer and does the job just as well. I may go back to using the sesame oil blend I used which comes with a measuring cup and free tongue scraper as it's good for the cooler months when the coconut oil is solidifying. (Who likes to put a balloon in their mouth and wait for it to melt? I don't always enjoy that. Tin). To be honest I think what I liked most about this oil was the bottle size and the fact that the oil didn't spill all over the place but for the size and the number of uses it should be half the price. If my toothpaste cost more than a dollar a use, it would be better if it miraculously healed and repaired my teeth, you know? If my body soap costs more than a dollar a use, it'll do a better job of restoring my skin's youthful glow and eliminating all my imperfections. So far I haven't seen any results that justify the cost of using this oil over a dollar.
