I actually had to buy that twice. The lid was on when I first bought it. and it broke one day while driving. I didn't notice until I got home. It cost a lot less then and I wish I had glued it on. It works very well and is visible in any light. I believe Kuryakin bought back the original product to add to his line, so the price went from $24 to $40. I managed to get it at Revain for $30 so I'm not really complaining. It's compact (about an inch and a half), has a self-adhesive foam base, and goes well with my base black dash. I drilled a small hole for the wiring at the bottom. Oh yeah, I recommend this black over chrome if you don't want a shiny object reflecting the sun off your face. The point is to see the LEDs, right? Do not dazzle from reflected light. I use it to make sure my accessories don't take me out of the green zone.
