If you read the description carefully you will see that it says easy to clean but nothing about how to completely disassemble the bottle for a thorough cleaning. The kit doesn't even come with paper instructions for full disassembly. Also, it goes on to say that this bottle is NOT dishwasher safe, which is another big issue. Let me make something very clear. By default, if something isn't dishwasher safe, it's not easy to clean. Anyone who has ever had a drinking bottle like this knows that dirt and mold can accumulate and grow in inaccessible places over time. That is why careful disassembly and cleaning is so important. This bottle can't do that. Of course, this bottle is really good until it starts smelling bad due to mold growth.
