I can't imagine why they have a red sticky strip in them. I thought the red might be the backing that would peel off, but no, it doesn't. So it's funny. We didn't use it. Otherwise it was easy to cut and fit quite snugly, although not so tight that I was sure it would stay. (He's stayed for almost a year now.) I just googled and saw that there are more elaborate versions, not rolled up like this one, that cost twice as much on the Orange Big Box store website. This one is also more "cloudy" than crystal clear, although I don't think it looks bad. The eye, for example, does not go there. We are excited to finally use our new shower and are annoyed that the installer only did the trim on the opening side of the door and not the hinge side. I don't know if they forgot or what. Given the low price I thought it was worth the risk.
