I bought this cable to replace an old VGA cable that had a bad connection leading to it that my monitor turned off sometimes. I've been using this cable for half a year now and it has never let me down. I'm a freelance writer and photographer, so my three monitors are very important to me. My computer setup allows for a VGA, an HDMI, and a DVI cable. My VGA monitor is furthest from the tower and this cable gets through with no problem. No complaints.
