Good value for money for vacuum cleaners and floor washers

I bought this for my sailboat for general cleaning and the occasional bilge vacuum. It seems well made, but its lift is only enough to suck up a full hose of water from 9 inches below the floor of the cleaner (the cargo area is 14 inches deep). I can avoid this by placing the nozzle on the water surface and sucking the air-water mixture through the hose. For general cleaning or vacuuming up water from a floor or carpet, the suction seems to be sufficient. Good product at a good price but not perfect for my purposes. But if you don't have 120v, this is a good option.
