Easy installation best in my review

This is exactly what I needed. Measured an inch and a half in and do yourselves a favor and get a right angle drill attachment. Made my job super quick. Held the canned lights in place with no issues

Thickness is fine, plenty strong enough to support the retrofit LED's I used.

Cons

May not be easy to remove once installed
